ASU academic calendar fall 2024

ASU Fall semester 2024 starts from August 18, 2024, to December 10, 2024. Below are the important dates and deadlines on the ASU academic calendar for the fall semester of 2024.

1. The schedule of Classes is available on February 21, 2024.
2. Registration Dates begin on February 24, 2024 for In-Person students and on February 25, 2024 for ASU Online students.
3. $50.00 Late Registration Fee Begins (does not apply to ASU Online students) on August 10, 2024 for Session A and Session C, and on October 4, 2024 for Session B.
4. The University of Arizona, ASU move-in day for fall 2024 is from August 11 2024 to August 15 2024 for the First Year Students (Freshmen). Upper Division students move-in day is from August 16, 2024 to August 18, 2024. You are required to inform University Housing by email from your @asu.edu email account prior to August 6, 2024, if you will be arriving after 5 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2024. Freshmen (Fall 2024) move-in will start the week prior to classes and depend on your campus location according to ASU academic calendar 2024-2025.
5. ASU Fall Classes begin on August 18, 2024 for Session A and C and on October 12, 2024 for Session B. ASU Fall start dates 2024 and the first day of ASU fall 2024.

2. Spring 2025 Registration begins on September 27, 2024 for ASU Online students and on October 17, 2024 (tentative) for In-Person students.
3. $50.00 Late Registration Fee begins (does not apply to ASU Online students) on January 2, 2025 for Session A and Session C and on March 5, 2025 for Session B.
4. ASU Spring 2025 classes begin on January 9, 2025 for Session A and C and March 13, 2025 for Session C.
5. The last day to register or Drop/Add without College approval is on January 10, 2025 for Session A, January 15, 2025 for Session C, and March 14, 2025 for Session B.
6. The residency Classification Petition deadline is January 15, 2025.
